BioGlo designs autonomous, battery-free signaling systems that activate instantly when someone enters the water and emits 360° bioluminescent light and dye plumes for both day and night rescue.

Our patent pending systems integrate into PFDs, diver gear, UAV buoys, and flood rescue kits - meeting or exceeding USCG, IMO, and SOLAS standards with shelf-stable, zero-maintenance technology.

Our Founder

BioGlo Scientific, Inc. was founded by Frank Jaeger, a U.S. Coast Guard Master Captain, American Sailing Master Instructor, inventor, author, and biotechnology executive with decades of experience operating at the intersection of science, safety, and maritime operations. He has built and led companies across marine operations and rare-disease biotechnology, raising over $150 million and launching multiple regulated products.

BioGlo reflects his firsthand experience with emergency conditions on the water and his conviction that autonomous visibility and simplicity is what saves lives.
